Synthetic Stimulus
Synthetic Stimulus integrates building and landscape to connect Seattle’s Pike Place Market with the shore of Puget Sound. The design exaggerates the geology of the site while abstracting the branched corporate structure of the offices housed inside. Crossing an existing parking facility and a steep topographic divide, the structure provides new pedestrian linkages between commercial and recreational hubs.
